Taking part in forum discussions and reading or viewing content on VetSurgeon.org can count towards the average 35 hours of documented Continuing Professional Development you have to do each year.
At the top of each page on VetSurgeon.org you'll see a red 'Claim CPD Button'
Press this and complete the drop down form. The details you enter are added to your VetSurgeon PDR Record. You can return to the page and edit the details at any time.
The CPD time you record on VetSurgeon.org is displayed in a part of your VetSurgeon Profile which is visible ONLY to you, under My Account > View My Profile> CPD tab.
By default, the system displays details of your activities for the year to date.
Press 'Generate Certificate' and the system will generate a CPD certificate for the default period, which includes an appendix detailing your activities over the period. This can be uploaded to your RCVS PDR.
You can use the date selector to provide details / a certificate for a different period of time.
