Advertising vacancies on VetSurgeon Jobs is deliberately simple.

• Complete the form, press submit and your advert goes live on VetSurgeon.org for 60 days. It is also emailed to any subscribers whose search criteria your job meets, highlighted throughout VetSurgeon.org, and fed out to external social networks (Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter).
• At any time, you may return and edit your advertisement, or see how it is performing, by clicking 'Manage My Jobs'. However, doing so does not move it back up the list (there is no need, as our jobs are geographically targeted).
• After your advertisement has expired, you may renew it as needed, which will then bump it back up to the top of the list.
• NO AGENCY ADVERTS, PLEASE.
• NO ADVERTS FOR VETERINARY NURSES, PLEASE. YOU MUST POST THEM OVER ON VETNURSE.CO.UK.

We've put a lot of thought and effort (not to mention money!) into developing VetSurgeon Jobs so that it offers you an opportunity to present your vacancy in the most engaging, professional way.

Placing an advertisement is simple. Complete the form and submit. Your advertisement goes live immediately.

However, VetSurgeon.org does offer features designed not just to help make your advert stand out, but also to help focus your mind on communicating the benefits of working for you effectively. 

Before you begin, we recommend you read the results of a survey carried out by VetSurgeon.org in April 2016 which gives an insight into what candidates are looking for in a job.

Place a job advertisement on VetSurgeon.org and you're putting it in front of the largest, busiest community of veterinary surgeons in the UK. On top of that, we feed your job advert out to our followers on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin. We're also working to get your advert exposure on the main search engines.

Advertising on VetSurgeon.org is currently free of charge. 

A few basic rules:

1. NO agency job adverts please, with the exception of jobs in industry.
2. Please do not place the same advert more than once. The geographical search tool means that your job advert will rank highly for a given geographical search, and duplicates are likely to annoy readers.
3. Jobs expire automatically after 60 days, after which you will receive an email giving you the option to review the statistics for the advert or renew it.
4. Adverts are no longer bumped up the list if you edit or renew them prior to expiry.
