I graduated from Cambridge University in 2006, before spending a year as a rotating Intern at the Animal Health Trust (God rest her soul).
Thereafter I joined the front line, working in independent primary care at Bishops Stortford Veterinary Hospital, and completed the RCVS certificate in Small Animal Surgery under the guidance of Dick White.
in 2012 I returned to Cambridge University for a year as a staff orthopaedic surgeon before moving to Dick White Referrals as an ECVS resident in 2013. Post residency and completion of Diploma exams I stayed at DWR for 6 years as a specialist seeing both Soft Tissue and Orthopaedic referrals.
With the rise of the corporate takeovers, I chose to leave DWR in 2022 and have joined forces with a likeminded team to co-found Stansted Veterinary Specialists - a proudly independent, multidisciplinary, referral hospital, currently under construction close to Stansted Airport in Essex.
In the meantime I spread my time between locum work at Northern Ireland Veterinary Specialists, seeing referral cases at Bishop's Stortford Veterinary Hospital and looking after my wife, young daughter and two black Labradors.
