MDC is launching a new improved version of its Pet Porter, a dual-purpose animal stretcher and body bag.

The company developed the new version with input from veterinary surgeons, nurses and APPCC (Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria) members. 

Their recommendations, which have now been incorporated into the new design, include:

• Now comes in a pack of two - one large (animals up to 80kg) and one small (spaniel size)
• Integrated lining so completely leak-proof (to avoid distressing situations post-euthanasia)
• Neoprene padded handles to make it more comfortable to carry a heavy animal
• Chunky, longer-lasting zip
• Document pouch with velcro fastening (discreet for cremation details)
• Address card holder for practice, ambulance or pet crem company

The new Pet Porters will be available from leading veterinary wholesalers from May.
