Davies Veterinary Specialists (DVS) the leading, private veterinary referral practice based near Hitchin in Hertfordshire, has won a coveted gold in the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) Cat Friendly Practice Awards 2007, with the judges commenting: "'The standard of care and attention to detail provided by all the staff was impressive".

The FAB Cat Friendly Practice Awards scheme was set up last year to help cats, owners and veterinary staff achieve less stressful and more successful visits to their vet practice.
