Barclaycard has launched Paywag, a new NFC payment system for dogs.
Installed in a specially designed dog collar, the new system allows dogs to make payments up to £5.00 in value in selected pet stores and veterinary practices.

This is a great idea and the possibilities are endless. If the dog got lost then may be it could get home by someone calling it a taxi and paying for the journey with its own £5.00 Barclaycard.
May be Humans can wear a card in their jogging suits and get bleeped in the shops for a drink!
What a cool idea and good for Jollys Petfood stores trying something new.
They posted it one day early for April's fools
Is it £5 or £5000, am a bit worried my springer cross would go on a mega ball buying mega shopping spree, and I'ld end up paying the huge bill! She is just a tad ball fixated, think it's a true addiction, will Barclay card support ball anonymous? Only joking is a good idea not to have to take a purse/wallet when out walking the dog, the only problem I suspect would be that usually these sort of purchases are usually in food shops where they don't allow pets.
