Opportunity.

We are looking for a vet who has finished their VetGDP and is confident with routine surgery and emergencies.

This can be a full or part time role. A full-time position means working a 4-day week with the same day off each week. Saturdays are worked on a generous rota basis and their are no Sundays or on call requirements for this role.

About Us.

We are a long-established practice with a friendly and stable team that bring experience and varied interests including medicine, surgery and behaviour. We have an interesting caseload; lovely clients and we all have plenty of opportunity to consult and operate each week.

Vets have the support of consultation assistants, which helps you concentrate on communicating with clients and making the most of your time during your 20 minute consultation. We have a good RVN to Vet ratio with the RVN's working to their full potential in the team.

In 2023 we moved into our new premises and are enjoying working in a modern and spacious environment.  Our practice is purpose-designed with all of the features we need to give our patients great care and allow our team to do their best job. Our new space is calm and welcoming which makes a huge difference to the team, clients and especially the pets we look after.

The partners, Pippa and Saul, work in the practice every day, looking after and understanding the team is a priority for us. We want everyone to feel values, fulfilled and be able to persue their own areas of interest.

We want you to be enthusiastic and to work as a key member of our team, which requires good communication, self-awareness and high professional standards. The role requires a kind, compassionate approach and would suit someone that is ambitious, adaptable and wants to grow in our practice.

Further study will be encouraged, we have a wide ranging caseload and excellent reputation which means our clients are happy for us to work up and treat most cases in house.
