Veterinary Surgeon (with potential to lead) - Are you ready to step up?
Do you have the desire and skills to lead a team? Are you a confident and driven Vet, ready for the next step in your career as an experienced Small Animal Vet?
We have an unmissable opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to step up and join our friendly team at Greenford Vets for Pets, sister practice to our hugely successful ‘concept’ site in Brentford.
A bit about us:For a London practice, we’re very fortunate to be based on the mezzanine of a thriving Pets at Home store with lots of light, space and a great outlook. The practice has been open for 10 years now so we’ve built a vast and varied caseload with loyal clients, and we’re well set up with all the quality equipment you’d expect from a reputable GP practice, to provide first class care to them.
We’ve also got ample parking and we’re within walking distance of the Central tube line and mainline train station making your commute that much easier!
The team:We’re a small but perfectly formed team! You’ll be joining 2 other vets, both of whom originally joined us on our award-winning graduate scheme and Attila, our practice owner. Our vets are also supported by Louise our head nurse and practice manager, along with a solid team of students, VCAs and receptionists.
Now about you and the role:Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for an experienced vet with a broad range of GP skills, someone comfortable in sole charge and a great communicator and team player. You’ll also be a mentor and guide to our less experienced vets and new graduates joining us. The hours required are full time, 4 days a week 9am until 7pm and 1 in 3 weekends, Saturday 9am until 5pm and Sunday 10:30am until 4pm.
Some of the benefits:As well as working with our lovely team, we’re offering you:

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
