ECC role - day and twilight shifts (no overnights) at a 24/7 hospital
Valley Vets are looking for an exceptional vet to complete our amazing ECC team.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team to continue to expand our current ECC care, and provide a seamless 24/7 service for local practices.
The Role
The role is an ECC role- working on a rolling rota of 4 days on, 4 days off, allowing you to really maximise a satisfying clinical role with a great quality of life. Based within our hospital, you would have access to a varied and interesting caseload with the support of our team of ECC and first opinion vets. We provide out of hours provision for around 40 local practices covering beyond the Cardiff area, meaning that we see a very wide and varied caseload of both medical and surgical cases.
About us
Valley Veterinary Hospital is a multi-disciplinary site that actively encourages collaboration between our first opinion and ECC teams. We pride ourselves in investing both in our team and our equipment and facilities, providing an excellent platform for our team to be able to work cases up fully and pursue their personal clinical interests.
The Local Area
Valley Vets is lucky to be situated in an extremely diverse area. South Wales and in particular, Cardiff and its surroundings, really are something very special. Within easy commuting distance of all of our practices, you can be living in the vibrant city centre of Cardiff, surround yourself with nature and tranquillity in the coastal towns of the Vale of Glamorgan, or the mountains of the Valleys and Brecon Beacons National Park. The area really does have something for everyone. Sports facilities are extensive and broad-ranging: from the International Sports Village in Cardiff to UK-renowned mountain bike trails in Merthyr Tydfil and Cwmbran, beautiful walks on the Welsh Coastal Path or mountain and waterfall walks in the Brecon Beacons National Park, there really is something for everyone.
