Cat with a chronic abscess on head due to occlusion of nasofrontal ostium. This had been unsuccesfully managed as a local abscess prior to referral. In animals with swellings, discharging sinuses or unresponsive abcesses in this region, an underlying cause should be considred, such as sinusistis due to occlusion of the nasofrontal ostium or nasofrontal neoplasia. A case of the latter is found in Alex Gough's gallery.
