CT scan: 3 year old Labrador retriever
This is a transverse CT image of the same elbow .
The "bean" shaped bone towards the top left is the radius and the irregular shape towards the bottom right is the ulna.
The coronoid process is that part of the ulna nearest the top of the picture - closer inspection reveals a fissuring and fragmentation of the coronoid which, along with the adjacent, underlying ulna, appears rather sclerotic.
