This Bearded dragon caught its leg in its vivarium and presented 10/10 lame. The 1st radiograph reveals a stifle dislocation. In order to avoid amputation the leg was cross pinned.

The cross pins were fixed with epoxy and the dragon viv rested for 4 weeks. Post op analgesia and antibiotics were provided. The dragon returned to full limb usage after a further period of rest following pin removal. The dragon was anaesthetised with alfaxalone at 7mg/kg iv following a buprenorphine premed and then intubated and maintained on sevoflurane by ippv. Meloxicam post op and to go home with.
